Conclusion
Our project will allow the user to control the temperature/humidity/lighting within a greenhouse environment. The schematic gives an overall view of the wiring. Power needs are 120vAC, 5vDC. A transformer and two types of relays will be used. Sensing elements include temperature, humidity, and light. The instrumentation software, LabVIEW will be utilized in order to control the environment. This project will give an excellent demonstration of how a process can be controlled: inputs from sensing elements are sent to a controller where this data is evaluated and appropriate outputs are sent to devices that will work to change the parameters being measured.
